THE HEART OF BLESSINGS IN BLOOM

Is Meaning

A glowing light lavender tulip opens around a luminous center, its curved petals hanging like tiny lanterns around the bloom’s interior.

At first glance, a flower is simply a flower.

We admire its color, enjoy its fragrance, and move on.

But when we choose to look closer, something remarkable happens.

What once seemed familiar becomes a foreign world—one filled with extraordinary architecture, intricate relationships, quiet resilience, and unmistakable purpose.

A rounded bud begins to split open, revealing tightly gathered green forms inside its protective outer shell.

Perhaps that is why I photograph what many stopped noticing.

Not because they are beautiful, although they often are.

But because this foreign world reflects our own.

By choosing to study it, we begin to learn more about ourselves.

Golden petals curl inward with soft age and texture, holding warmth even as the bloom begins to recede.

Creation offers meaning.

Not only in what flourishes, but also in what fades.

Not only in what is celebrated, but also in what is overlooked.

Even the blooms we call imperfect—and the weeds we hurry past—have something to teach us.

The closer I look, the more I see the fingerprints of a Creator whose artistry is found not only in perfection, but in purpose.

Every bloom, every season, every detail reminds me that creation was not assembled by accident.

It was spoken into existence with intention, order, and meaning.

Deep purple petals surround a luminous center, creating the feeling of a hidden room where color and shadow keep counsel.

Here, you are invited.

To slow down.

To notice.

To wonder.

To enter a world that has always existed just beyond our hurried glance.

And perhaps, by seeing creation more clearly, we begin to see ourselves—and our Creator—more clearly as well.
